Sean Kumar

Sean Kumar works with Chief Strategy Officers and their teams to help them solve problems by sharing cutting edge research and best practices from leading companies.

Mr. Kumar advises clients on all aspects of strategy formulation, strategic planning, and the management of the strategy corporate function. He has facilitated numerous client on-site sessions on various aspects of strategic planning including sessions with ELTs and the CEO.

Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Kumar advised senior military officials and business clients on complex legal, operational and strategic issues as a lawyer. He spent five years in private practice working in corporate/civil litigation before joining the United States Army as an active duty Judge Advocate. He is currently a Major in the United States Army Reserve. He is pursuing MBA from UVA's Darden School of Business in May 2019.

Previous experience

Mr. Kumar advised senior military officials and business clients on complex legal, operational and strategic issues. He litigated business cases and criminal jury trial cases at Court Martial.
