Gartner Payment Portal Terms and Conditions

Introduction

Welcome to Gartner! We encourage you to take advantage of the content and features available on payments.gartner.com and all Gartner-owned websites (each, a “website”).

Please read these non-negotiable terms and conditions carefully before using the website. By continuing to use the website, you (the “user”) agree to be bound by Gartner’s Terms of Use.

Payments processed on this website are subject to the terms set forth in a separate sales contract between you and Gartner.

If you have not yet purchased services from Gartner or are not already a Gartner client, we encourage you to contact us to learn more about the benefits and value that Gartner can provide.

Payment terms

I authorize Gartner to charge the credit card provided for the Invoice Number entered in the Payment Information Section and certify that I’m the authorized user of this credit card.

I have read and agree to the Terms of Use.

Currency exchange rate disclaimer: If you are paying for your invoice with an international Visa, Mastercard or American Express credit card, please note that the purchase price may fluctuate with exchange rates. In addition, your bank or credit card issuer may also charge you foreign conversion charges and fees, which may also increase the overall cost of your purchase. Please contact your bank or credit card issuer regarding these fees. Client/cardholder confirms acknowledgement and acceptance of a potential gain/loss incurred by any adjustments made by their bank due to the currency exchange rate. Gartner will not be liable or responsible for any loss incurred by the client/cardholder from an adjustment made due to the currency exchange rate. Nor will Gartner pursue the client/cardholder for collection if that adjustment should be made in the client’s/cardholder’s favor.

Disputes: You agree that, in the unlikely event that Gartner cannot resolve your payment issue and you dispute the credit card charge, your electronic statement may be used as evidence that said charge is valid and just. If there are any issues with your credit card charge, please contact Gartner Finance at CreditCardFinance@gartner.com

Troubleshooting credit card and debit card payment errors

If your card is new or recently reissued, make sure it has been activated.

Remove dashes or spaces from the account number.

If everything seems to be correct, call the card issuer’s customer service number on the back of your card. Your credit card company may need to speak with you before they authorize your purchase.

Please contact Gartner Finance at CreditCardFinance@gartner.com for additional payment options or any issues when submitting payment on this portal.

Account verification: To prevent any unnecessary delays processing your order, please ensure that the billing address on your order matches the information on your credit card account. If you have recently moved or are unsure whether you receive your credit card statement at your work or home address, please contact your card-issuing bank using the customer service number on the back of your credit card to confirm.

Security codes: The card security code, also known as CVV, is a unique three- or four-digit number printed on the front (American Express) or back (Mastercard or Visa) of your card, in addition to the account number.
