The 2023 Gartner Tech CEO Survey disclosed that 76% of pivots occur in pursuit of a product-market fit (PMF). Finding a PMF requires constant awareness of changes including changes in market forces, the competitive landscape and customer needs; it requires appreciating what change brings and, most critically, developing the ability to adapt in order to take advantage of the change.
